RTW Adds Scientist to Assist Clients in Advanced Water Treatment & Water Chemistry
Denver, CO – January 8, 2008 – Rothberg, Tamburini & Winsor, Inc. (RTW), a professional engineering and consulting firm headquartered in Denver, is proud to announce the addition of H. C. Liang, PhD to its water and wastewater engineering and design team.
H. C. Liang, Ph.D. brings expertise in teaching and water chemistry, with more than 18 years of experience in research, having published over twenty papers in peer-reviewed journals- including several on aqueous chemistry research. H.C. specializes in chemical processes for the removal of inorganic contaminants including arsenic, manganese, and other metals, and is RTW’s leader in examining the emerging field of endocrine disruptors (EDCs). He holds a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry, a master’s degree in environmental engineering, and a Ph.D. in inorganic chemistry. H. C. has taught and conducted detailed research in environmental chemistry as a former Assistant Professor of Chemistry at a major university in California.
Mr. Liang, along with Ivan Zhu, PhD, is a member of the RTW Applied Research Group. The unique knowledge these PhDs bring to clients in advanced water sciences and projects is just one more way that RTW is putting the client first, by bringing in a wide variety of expertise and experience. The Applied Research Group offers advanced research and treatment solutions, providing: thorough understanding of applicable treatment processes based on actual and expected chemistries and conditions in water systems; compatibility, treatability, and O&M implications; predictions related to ease of operations; and, the ability to recommend changes in treatment or processes for pilot-scale evaluation based on laboratory data.
